Biography
Ryan Friend is a Senior Investment Analyst on the Municipal Bond Team at Loomis, Sayles & Company. Previously, he was a Credit Research Analyst covering municipal bonds and was promoted to Senior Analyst in 2023, and joined the Municipal Bond Team in 2025. Ryan joined Loomis Sayles in 2019 as part of the firm’s acquisition of McDonnell Investment Management, where he had served as a fixed income analyst for the research department covering municipal bonds. He earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Financial Planning from Illinois State University.
